The information collected during the membership application process is required to allow us to contact you; without this information your application can not be processed.

Contact information you share with us including your name, phone number, email and postal address will be used by EEL to provide you with information about the charity’s events, updates on activities and membership. Members’ contact information is updated annually via the membership renewal process. This information is held for approximately 18 months until the next membership renewal has been issued.

Who do we share this information with?

Any information you share with us will only be used for the purposes mentioned above, and will not be shared with any other organisation without your prior consent. Your contact information will only be shared with selected officers, including the membership secretary and website manager.

Storage of information

Any information you share with us will be held electronically on a secure server. Any information provided to us in hard copy, e.g. membership application forms will be destroyed securely after processing.
